Leapmotor Introduces Over the Air Update for B10, bringing One Pedal Driving, enhanced Connectivity and smarter Interface Experiences

Leapmotor announced the latest over-the-air (OTA) software upgrade for the Leapmotor B10, delivering a rich package of new features designed to elevate driving comfort, connectivity, and safety.

This OTA update arrives only six months after the launch of the Leapmotor B10 SUV, underscoring the company’s dedication to rapid, meaningful software evolution. It reflects Leapmotor’s long-term commitment to continuously improving the onboard experience for all its customers, ensuring that every vehicle enhances its capabilities over time without requiring a visit to the dealership.

The latest OTA update introduces One-Pedal driving capability, native Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, expanded voice command functions and a range of refinements that make the vehicle more intuitive to use.

With this new release, B10 drivers can now experience One-Pedal driving, allowing most acceleration and deceleration to be controlled directly through the accelerator pedal. The enhanced energy recovery logic contributes to smoother control and improved efficiency.

Connectivity also takes a leap forward as the vehicle now supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, available through either wired or wireless connection, giving drivers seamless access to their preferred smartphone apps.

Leapmotor has introduced interface updates that improve accessibility; drivers can personalise their steering wheel buttons with new multifunction settings, including shortcuts for ADAS features and drive modes.

The OTA update also enhances important elements of the driving and infotainment experience. Navigation can now be displayed through a newly introduced left side split screen layout, improving visibility when using multiple applications.

The infotainment system launches faster thanks to a new preloading “Quick Start” feature, reducing waiting time upon startup. The in-vehicle life presence detection reminder has been optimised, and improvements to ACC and LCC ensure smoother deceleration when approaching curves.

The first 2026 software OTA update has started its deployment in early February, and it is in the rolling phase for B10 customers. Drivers simply receive an in-vehicle notification when the software is available and can be installed directly through the car’s interface.
